Gotta give it to pgr 4 when it comes to the tracks. they played it just right balancing the polygons for cars and tracks to make them both look great and compliment each other perfectly. The weather affects are also amazing.
riding around nord in the snow in an old f1 car and driving in the audi s4 though the rain in tokyo made me feel kinda emotional.

i don't have my ps3 yet as im getting it with either prologue or mgs4 haven't completly decided.
These problems i speak of are ones that ps3 owners i know have told me about. Ihave COD4 on my 360 910 ach points and so we have compared and the said problems exist on the ps3 version but not on the 360 version. In cod4 there is noticable lag while playing on the bog level. All the other levels are mostly fine.

what about unreal tournaments lag problems or cod4 connection issues/lag which varries depending on the level?(especially on bog) It seems that Ps3 owners haven't been completely honest when they talk about a lag free online exp.

Im still undecided on Gt prologue. Just downloaded the forza 2 march car pack and im remembering how much joy ive had with this game. Just qualified for an online b class tournament in my bmw m3 2008.

SC:DA was the first sc id played and i was blown away loved that game and sc conviction with its wide open spaces/day light missions looks amazing but i think saying sc is better then mgs is subjective.
I personally like a bit more fantasy based stealth with futuristic tech and mangaesque characters/story so id have to go with MGS. But its not everyones cup of tea especially if you like stories based in reality. Im a fantasy man.
Wipeout hd looks like its gonna be immense can't wait for this playing f zero gx for the 1st time on the wii at the mo and its got me back into futuristic racing.
I know on this site i may an exception but my most anticipated 1player game this year is Fable 2(i love rpg/adventure) been keeping an eye on this one and some of the things their doing are revolutionary for the rpg/adventure genre.

The whole point is that you don't have to but the choice is there. You dont have to get married or have kids, you could get married and then shoot your wife because she pisses you off, you could gamble all night or not touch the mini game. Jeez you could become a recluse and spend all your time with your dog or not have a dog at all.
Its called choice and choice is good. Ie you could of decided to get a games console for games rather then brand recognition.
Moleneux is again bringing innovation to the games community. I mean the virtual dog as your companion, a family and now online gambling as a mini game simply brilliant. Hope it does not cost to much for the game. would be nice as a good will gesture if it was free.

Im still wondering how the online racing will handle on the ps3. This is mainly why i'll be buying this game so if it does not work well over here in england then i'll be screwed.
Once you get used to the competition/tournaments online in forza2 you don't want to just be driving on your own unless your practising. Lets hope PD come though for us.
If not i'll be playing forza 2 untill they sort it out for the main release.

@Sonarus i dont think any game that gets a high metacritic score is overated as it takes into account every reputable site/mags review eliminating bias. Its the purest rating form we have and has never let me down.
I do think though that a person is the best judge on what type of games they like/dont like. I also prefer halo for online mp(but cod4 campaign was epic) but i use me...
